The breakfast was top-notch, I mean they use local products, even homemade bread for toast! and those little touches like fresh muffins for later made the whole experience feel extra special.

The breakfasts were a true culinary delight! Freshly made local produce was complemented with homemade muffins that delighted our taste buds. The owners, Abigail and Andrew, went out of their way to ensure our comfort, right from the luscious lemon drizzle cake in our room to the lovely spa bath that felt heavenly after a day of hiking. Those thoughtful touches really elevated our stay!

Upon arrival, we were greeted with homemade cake, instantly making us feel at home. The breakfast was a feast, with a wide range of fresh local produce, including delicious homemade bread and muffins to enjoy later. The hosts, Andrew and Abigail, shared wonderful tips on local walks that truly enhanced our experience.

Despite an overall wonderful stay, the narrow access to the parking area was slightly challenging, especially for larger vehicles. I felt the ensuite bathroom could benefit from more towel hooks.

Braw wee stay! The breakfast was absolutely fantastic with a proper spread of local produce, fresh muffins and a cracking full cooked option. Only downside was the check-out time felt a wee bit early at 10:30. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back!

Staying at Ivythwaite Lodge was a delight. The room’s cleanliness was unmatched, making me feel truly at home. Fresh milk and bottled water in the room was a nice touch as well. Breakfast included a wide range of locally sourced produce that was beautifully presented. Homemade muffins available for later were a charming addition. My only concern was the parking access, which might be tricky for larger vehicles. The check-in communication could also use some improvement. it felt a bit confusing at times. memorable stay thanks to the thoughtful touches and quality service.

Just a solid selection for a city holiday in Windermere with good price-quality ratio. Breakfast was amazing, especially the homemade muffins. Keep an eye on the narrow lanes for parking.

A comfortable two-night stay featured a beautifully decorated room with thoughtful touches like a personalized welcome pack and fresh homemade lemon drizzle cake. The breakfast selection was impressive, highlighting local produce, with options like fresh fruit and homemade muffins. the bed was a bit too firm for my liking, and accessing the kettle was somewhat inconvenient due to its low position. Plus, parking at the back was tricky due to the narrow track.

The jacuzzi bath was a fantastic bonus after our long walks. The fridge and wine glasses were a nice touch!

We had a fantastic two-night stay in a spacious classic double room. The homemade muffins and lemon drizzle cake left in our room were delightful surprises that made us feel so welcome. Breakfast was cooked to perfection with a wide selection, using locally sourced ingredients. The only downside was the parking area, which could be a bit tricky for larger vehicles.
